Space designed for vocals
One Knob for the Room
The large central knob sets the overall space amount. Go from a subtle touch of room to a wide, open atmosphere in one move, without tweaking six parameters at once.
Ducking Keeps the Vocal Clear
The Dynamics section reduces the reverb tail automatically while the vocal is active. The dry signal stays forward and present, and the reverb fills in the gaps between phrases.
Space Controls With Lock
Adjust time, width, pre-delay, damping, and initial level independently. Lock any parameter you want to keep fixed and freely experiment with the rest.
Tone Shaping Built In
Treble and saturation in the Tone section let you shape the character of the reverb directly. Bright or smooth, dry or warm, without loading a separate plugin on the reverb return.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is VocalSpace only for vocals?
No, but it is designed with vocal tracks in mind. The ducking behavior and tone controls work well on any source where the dry signal needs to stay upfront.
What does Ducking do?
Ducking reduces the reverb tail automatically when the incoming signal is active. This keeps the vocal clear and intelligible while still giving it a sense of space between phrases.
What is the difference between Time and Pre-Delay?
Time sets how long the reverb tail lasts. Pre-Delay adds a short gap between the dry signal and the start of the reverb, which can help the vocal sit in front of the room rather than being swallowed by it.
What does the Initial control do?
Initial sets the level of the early reflections, the first bounces that define the sense of space. Higher values make the room feel larger and more present.
What does the lock icon do?
Locking a parameter protects it from being changed when you adjust the main central knob. Lock what you want to keep and use the large knob to dial in the rest.
What does A/B comparison do?
A/B lets you store two separate settings and switch between them instantly to compare how they sound in context.
Is this a convolution or algorithmic reverb?
VocalSpace is algorithmic. This means the reverb character is generated in real time without impulse response files, which keeps the plugin lightweight and fully adjustable.
Is this a free beta?
Yes. VocalSpace is in beta and available to download for free. Feedback is welcome on Discord.
